Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress, and film actor. She lived from January 31, 1937, until January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her stage career, and she appeared in films towards the end of the 1950s. She later appeared in notable films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). In later years, she was a part of various television productions and was often as a guest actor. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, from 1972 until 1978 which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on January 31 1937 in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1] and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish, children of immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
