Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former worker in a factory. She was born on 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. Stone is the youngest from three sister. Stone began second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Her graduation was in 1975. She also competed in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved into New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to take on a job as models. In less than a month Stone signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency. After one year of modeling between Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. Stone became dissatisfied with the fashion industry in Europe, and chose to pursue acting instead. Stone was a 20-year-old in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed praises.
