Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. InvictaFC 11 was her very first professional bout. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina through the ground and pound strategy, resulting in an TKO second round victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the first round she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC on ESPN 7. In her most recent fight with the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was beaten by a unanimous verdict.
